Replaced WhatsApp threads and email attachments with a public order wizard, a client portal, and an admin dashboard that pushes automated PDF job sheets straight to the printer.

Karisia Walking Safaris: One Platform for Bookings, Accounts, and Rota

We are replacing seven disconnected tools with a single Laravel and Filament operations platform for a walking safari operator in northern Kenya

Karisia Walking Safaris runs guided walking safaris and Tumaren Camp in northern Kenya. Their bookings, sales pipeline, accounts, and staff rota live across seven separate spreadsheets and tools. We kicked off a 12 week build in April 2026 to replace that stack with a single Laravel 12 and Filament 5 platform backed by PostgreSQL, plus a Next.js and Sanity customer website to replace Squarespace.

Petrus CROMS: Client and Compliance Operations for a Dual-Entity Firm

We built Petrus CROMS, a Laravel 12 and Filament 5 platform that runs 139 client companies, 28 staff, and two legal entities (PSL and PAL) from a single admin. It replaces six spreadsheets, auto-generates monthly compliance tasks, and gives Peter one view of who owes what to which regulator.

Pure Wilderness Safaris runs bespoke Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda itineraries for high-end clients out of a set of Excel files and a manual supplier availability chart. We ran two discovery sprints with Catherine Coulson, reverse-engineered her workflow from 3 live itinerary files and 100+ rate cards, and shipped a 14-page Phase 1 build spec microsite to production at kaara.works/purewilderness/v2. Catherine is now reviewing scope and pricing for the Phase 1 build.

Safari and retreat site for a family-run farm between Mount Kenya and the Aberdares

Rebuilt the marketing and booking-inquiry site for Sandai Farm, a family-run retreat near Nanyuki that has hosted guests on safari since 1997. The new site covers 18 safari itineraries, 10 rooms, 10 retreats, a full rate sheet, and three community projects, all served from one React and Vite codebase on Vercel.

Delivered a two-hour discovery call, a nine-document proposal package, an interactive microsite, a lean proof plan, and a five-hour in-person AI strategy session with six members of Solvit leadership in Nairobi.
